Terms of Use

Clear rules for learning and building.

These terms govern your use of the SupaSQL app, API, learning content, and related services.

Effective: August 19, 2026 · Last updated: August 19, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Utivilla, the operator of SupaSQL (“SupaSQL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using SupaSQL, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS app. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, those Apple terms control to the extent of the conflict.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and legally permitted to use the Service. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use and these Terms.

SupaSQL may create an anonymous account automatically. You may connect it to Sign in with Apple to preserve access across supported devices. You are responsible for protecting your device and credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. The Service

SupaSQL provides SQL exercises, synthetic training datasets, query execution, automated grading, progress tools, AI-assisted tutoring, interview practice, and related educational features. Features, limits, datasets, and availability may change as the Service develops.

SupaSQL is an educational tool. It does not guarantee employment, certification, examination results, or that every explanation, grade, generated challenge, or query result will be complete or error-free.

4. Acceptable use

You may use SupaSQL only for lawful personal or authorized educational purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to access accounts, systems, datasets, secrets, or infrastructure you are not authorized to access.
  • Bypass query restrictions, rate limits, subscriptions, security controls, or technical safeguards.
  • Probe, scan, overload, disrupt, scrape, automate against, or interfere with the Service except through interfaces and limits we provide.
  • Upload or enter malware, secrets, regulated data, or another person’s personal information.
  • Copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Service or its content except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Use the Service to violate law, infringe rights, misrepresent identity, or facilitate harmful conduct.

We may restrict activity that threatens users, providers, infrastructure, or the availability of SupaSQL.

5. Your content and AI features

You retain any rights you have in SQL, interview responses, and feedback you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit Your Content solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service. Do not submit confidential information or data you do not have permission to use.

AI features may send relevant challenge context, SQL, errors, or learning information to an AI service provider. AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. Review and test output independently. Do not rely on SupaSQL or its AI output for production database changes, security decisions, legal advice, financial decisions, medical decisions, or other high-stakes uses.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Some features require a SupaSQL Pro subscription. Prices, billing periods, trial terms, and available products are displayed in the app and App Store before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID through Apple.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel through iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
  • Deleting SupaSQL or your SupaSQL account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
  • Refund requests and billing disputes are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies, including at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Except where law requires otherwise, access remains available through the paid period after cancellation and fees are not refundable by SupaSQL.

7. SupaSQL content and intellectual property

The Service—including its software, interface, brand, curricula, challenge text, synthetic datasets, graphics, and documentation—is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms and Apple’s applicable license terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use SupaSQL for personal or authorized educational use.

If you send suggestions or other feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, while we remain responsible for our handling of any personal information under the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability, suspension, and termination

We may maintain, update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk, failed to pay applicable fees, or when required by law. You may stop using SupaSQL at any time and can delete your account in the app.

Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms—continue after termination.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SupaSQL is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Service will always be secure, available, or error-free, or that stored progress will never be lost.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Utivilla and its owners, personnel, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities, goodwill, or business interruption arising from SupaSQL.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for SupaSQL during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $50. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Disputes and mandatory rights

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. These Terms do not waive consumer protections or other rights that cannot be waived under the law where you live. Any dispute not resolved informally may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction over the parties and dispute.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to SupaSQL, law, or our operations. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Your continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
